2009 sees the return of the Ultra Hyperspace, a lightweight version of this popular classic that saves 25% of the weight to bring it in at under 4kg, without sacrificing any of the space or functionality of the original. This opens up the 3-person design to lightweight mountaineers, alpinists and trekkers and also makes the Ultra Hyperspace our lightest 3 person mountain tent. The reduced weight and inner-first design will also a be a godsend for those travelling to desert or tropical climates where every gram is felt after a day in the sun, and the ventilation option of removing the flysheet totally provides cool and insect-free relief from the elements.
